Antique Art Deco Sterling Silver Butterfly Wing Sulfide Cameo Pendant NecklaceDates to the early Art Deco era, circa 1920.Crafted in sterling silver, and marked upon the spring ring clasp simply with \'STERLING\'.

Featuring a sulfide cameo pendant of a Greek or Roman Goddess, reverse etched into glass and backed with a blue Morpho butterfly wing. Surrounded by a repeating patterned silver frame, common in pieces of this era. Finished with a delicate O ring link chain.

The pendant portion of the necklace measures 0.74\" from top to bottom, with a side to side measurement of 0.51\". The necklace chain and pendant together measure just over 16.5\" from end to end. This piece weighs 3.5 grams.

Condition is very good, with no repairs noted. Some discolouration of the butterfly wing, most notably in the lower right hand corner (in photos). Cleaned, but not polished, so it retains it\'s aged patina.
