The firm Argentor Werke (Silver Works) seems to have been part of Wiener Werke(Vienna Works, a cooperative of sorts for new artists doing Art nouveau, art deco work from 1890 to 1932. Werke artists produced furniture, sculpture, lamps, and metal work. They seem to have fallen on hard times during the interwar period due to the post-WWI collapse of the Austrian economy and the depression). Argentor Werke was located in Wimbergerstraße, in one of the inner districts of Vienna, a site where different metal-ware companies gathered together. It was the custom at the time for companies with reputation to invite artists to create designs which then were to be cast. The three triangles are indeed a hallmark of Argentor Werke. The firm was active until the 60s.
