This is a fancy gold gilt enameled antique vintage Art Nouveau belt buckle. The lovely buckle has an acanthus leaf pattern with a stylized leaf center and leaf and scrollwork edges. The colors are a very pretty blue, cream and green. The buckle is in very good condition with some minor enamel loss and also some patina where the finger would touch to clasp the buckle. A super great piece to use or repurpose into a altered art, steampunk or upscale jewelry design or your own...albeit a bracelet or a clasp to a necklace perhaps?
