Fabulous heavy gauge copper and brass Arts & Crafts casket box has a stunning bright enameled center! The hand made box has riveted brass, strap-work legs over the copper body supporting it on each corner.The lid has a central hand cut out copper panel as a stylized tree which reveals a vibrant blue, green, white and black enameled plague. Stunning!

The front and back of the box boast a symmetric tree and each side panelhas a raised circular medallion with more stylized tree branches. Wonderful Arts & Crafts lines!

The copper and brass hand made box is very well constructed and in excellent condition withwith no breaks, holes or repairs. The inside is lined with its original light blue velvet lining has no rips, tears, holes, discoloration or soiling. It is darkened with age.The brass interior hinge is original and fully functional. the box has its original patina and finish, never been polished or cleaned!

Marked on the base with a T and on the interior rim in front of hinge with a O(see pictures). Maker unknown. Acquired in Düsseldorf Germany roughly 15 years ago.
