Nice Arts & Crafts hand tooled leatherpurse by Jemco. Purse has a beautifully done deep impression floral design on the front with a textured back. Stamping on the inside top shows that it was patented Oct 6, 1915 – May 5, 1917 with a completion date of July 23, 1918. The opening hinge assembly is dimpled solid brass with a button latch and a half-turn locking tab. The lacing on the purse is in very good condition but the strap is worn next to the attaching rings. The inside is beige colored soft suede with one light stain spot. It has two inside pockets with one holding a small matching leather tri-fold with a brass snap button that has rusted apart. Purse measures 7\" tall x 6 1/2\" wide with a 10” strap. It has been treated kindly for nearly 100 years; overall appearance is very good as you can see by the images.
