Offering an antique brass double inkwell set from Austria. Included is a carved ox bone. dip fountain pen.This brass inkwell measures about 6\" across the front and 5 1/2\" front to back. The two dips have no liners but their hinges work smoothly and each cup lifts out of the base (well one lifts out easily, the other needs to be oiled I think as it is stuck).Stamped into the brass at the base of each dip is the word: AUSTRIA. The brass of the inkwell set is somewhat tarnished and there are a few small dents on the base. The dip fountain pen measures 6\" in length. The metal is worn and tarnished but the nib is still sharp and smooth. I can read \"Jose Gillo Extra\" inscribed on the nib. The stem of the pen is carved ox bone and there is a hole at its center with a piece of glass inserted. Perhaps thiswas supposeto be a decorative accent.
