Here is a very Rare B.N. Morris Canoe. This a 16 1/2\" canoe. A special order for Sheldon Franklin (there is a name plate on one of the thwarts). This canoe has the only high price seats in it known. In the 1905 catalogue it showed three styles of seats and the ones in this canoe where the highest price. Kathryn Klos who wrote a book ( the Morris Canoe) told me this is the only canoe with this seat. There is a picture of my seat in the book. It is covered in canvas which will come off. There are a couple of ribs that will need repair and a few feet of planking to repair. There is a piece of gunwale that will need repair about 2 feet long. This canoe is actually in very good condition for its age. This is also a pre serial number canoe, late 1800\'s. any questions please email me or call 607-287-1507.
