Absolutely beautiful completely hand made and hand-carved ART DECO British Colonial or Anglo-Indian chair(settee listed separate)Beautifully and newly upholstered in a wonderful light, green cotton damask -- color best seen in picture of unzipped pillow showing down cushion Photo 8. RARE to find anything of this age with original caning. However old caning is fragile and this is a piece that can be sat in but not \"landed in\" Eventually the antique caning will need replacing but when I just re-upholstered the set, it was not yet time to do so. Caning can be redone without ruining the new upholstery. Hand carved, intricate special caning style.Luxury set when originally made and still is.Pillows are down stuffed and seat cushions very comfortable and sturdy and may have inner springs in addition to fill. NOTE exquisite styling with triple upholstered layer in front of both settee and chair. Under the cushions, the furniture is fully upholstered in same light green damask. Upholstery work is top of the lineCan not say enough about this set.
