This is a very nicelarger size oak woodsplintmelon egg gatheringbasket. The basket is unique because itlooks longer than wide, but actuallymeasures 13\" long x 13\" wide x 13\" tall.It is 7-1/2\" tall to the rim.It features awrapped rim, aworn but sturdy handle, and tightly woven qualityconstruction.
The basket shows wear and has darkened withage, but remains in good condition. It shows a small area ofbroken and missing splint just below the rim on one side.
Awonderful early and quality-made primitive basket that has a great countrylook and remains fully functional!
