This is a spectacular beaded purse with a gorgeous peacock design on the front. Back is green beads with gold bead trim. Beaded multi-colored fringe tassel on the bottom. The strap loops to drape over the wrist and snaps to the back. My mother told me it was for ladies to wear while dancing. Inside is gold gilded leather. The leather is so soft that it feels like lambskin. This bag belonged to my grandmother Honey who was born in the year 1900. It does not look like she ever used it, as it is in near mint condition. The date is somewhere between the 1920\'s to late 1930\'s. We had it appraised in 2006, and it was appraised at $475.00 in 2006. Measures 16 inches long by 4 inches wide.
