Scenic Toile Cotton Print Fabric.Description:
This incredibly lovely antique scenic toile was printed on cotton in France during the early 19th century.
The design features flying cherubim bearing floral garlands and a medallion depicting the head of a classical person;
architecture amidst trees, flowers and other foliage; and a man tending to his donkey.
The colors are tones of navy and cream.The fabric measures 31 1/2 inches in width by 19 inches in length.This medium to heavy weight cotton fabric would be wonderful for pillows, patchwork or other sewing projects!
It would also be beautiful framed!Condition:
This is antique fabric.
There is a lot of dirt/staining in the right side, along the bottom and on the left side and edge of the fabric.
There is a small staple-like hole near the lower left corner. This fabric could use a good scrubbing.Please see photos for reference.All fabrics, wallpapers and paintings are sold \"as is\".
