Rare, and much harderto find, sea shell designed Bennington pottery spittoon / stoneware pottery inexcellent aged condition (please view my photos ). It is quite heavy, thick,solid, clean, strong, and well made! Ithas the traditional Bennington pottery brownish yellow and gold coloring to it!It measures: 8 1/2 \" wide across, x 3 1/2 \" high. It has eleven verylovely sea shells around the top. The side has a round area to drain if needbe. It has a couple of thin paint fleck on top rim (very hard to see). All in all, a great early Bennington potterypiece.
