Vintage antique purse dating from the Victorian age. The square metal frame has a nice patina and delicate scroll pattern surrounding the black silk on each side of the purse. The purse closes tight with the solid ball clasp and the solid hinge goes completely across the bottom of the purse.The inside is lined with pink silk and surrounded by a lacy scrolled gold/silver trim. There is also a metal frame for a circular mirror, which is missing.The black silk is in very good condition with no holes or tears - there is one spot where is it slightly pulled away from the metal frame. The pink lining has 2 torn weak spots (by the mirror frame) due to the material aging. From a smoke-free, pet-free home.Purse measures 4 3/4\" x 3 3/4\", chain drops 6 1/2\".Please review photos carefully for detailed condition.
