All in shades of red..pretty together.
These were donated for our cause, all came from someones personal library. This person had really cool books and took care of them.
Titles and condition notes below1. The Alhambra by Washington Irving,Thomas Y.Crowell & Comp. No copyright but does nave a preface to the revised edition with a date 1852.
Pages are tight. Paper has tanned with age. There is a name inside the front cover in pencil. Rest of the book looks clean. Some smudges and faint stains. This book has some water type of damage on the back...its been there a long time. You can see that in photos 10 + 11. Light old book smell if you sniff close inside.
There is some light shelf wear along the edges and corners. Little more wear on the upper and lower spine. Gold lettering on spine is visible but kinda light.
2. The Phantom Rickshaw & Other Tales by Rudyard Kipling: A.L.Burt Company:No date. Tight clean pages. Paper has tanned with age. Some light smudges along the edges. Some shelf wear along the edges and corners. Little more wear on the spine edges.
3. Silas Marner by George Eliot: Macmillan Company:1929: This book has a name and date in a few places inside the front cover. Rest of the book seems clean. Paper has tanned with age. Some light shelf wear along the edges and corners. There is some creasing on the cover.
