This is a Set of Two Antique Bow Back Chairs, as shown in the photos. They are all natural wood finish. They look like they have never had varnish or shellac on them. They may have been built in Sinclairville, NY or for someone in that town around the 1890\'s or early 1900\'s. They come from Chautauqua County. I don\'t know the exact age or type of wood used. Possible Ash, Walnut, or Hickory. One has writing on the bottom. The tops seem solid, but they are a little loose at some of the joints on the legs. One chair needs the legs re-glued, the other might need gluing too. The one chair needs minor repair of the leg piece. They are in amazing condition and have all the original patina. They are in perfect shape for restoration. The pictures show the condition better than I can describe. Please look them over carefully before offerding. They are sold as is. I removed the legs off both chairs and have them knocked down for shipping. The seats with bow back are still in one piece. Just need to glue the legs together and set the base on them. I can ship both in one box.The shipping is based upon USPS or UPS Rates and the actual weight and size of the package delivered to your destination. There is no packing fee.
