Vintage brass bowls on balancing bar attached to wopd block. One side of wood has a piece of metal covering up a hole in the block. It is hollowed out behind the metal. At one time it had something in ut. Possibly a clock or some sort of stone maybe? The bowls are hammered brass and measure and around 1-1/2\" deep. The height from bottom of wood to top of brass is approximately 13-1/2\". There are no markings anywhere so I can\'t say when or where it was made.
