Today we\'re offering an antique, brass humidor, most likely meant for cigars.
We don\'t know who the maker is - it is unmarked. We don\'t know the exact age and could not find any exact examples of this piece but similar items appear to be late 1800\'s to early 1900\'s. Judging by the patina on this, it does appear to be quite old!
The lid fits nicely - not too loose and not too snug! Itis hand hammered on top.
It stands 6.5\" tall (to top of lid) and is about 5\" in diameter across the bottom. We do not detect any odors inside (just the patina!)
There a couple small dents on the bottom and it looks like the foot (rim) has been dented but the body is in good shape.
We have not tried to clean or polish this piece - it is as found.
