Brass Nappy with Paw Feet & EAPGJar – Frame # 23

makers mark is a Flag on a pole with the initialsW&11 in the Flag.

This small brass frame measures 4 ¼” High x6” Wide and 3 3/8” in diameter at the opening.

It sits on threelittle lion paw feet and has a hook handle.

The frame has a singlefinger candle holder design.

It holds an EAPG panel and raiseddiamond pattern jar named Sequoia aka Heavy Paneled Diamond Crossmade by U.S. Glass ( Duncans #800 ).

It is in excellent condition.

This nappy and jar set may have been used for condiments or as acandle holder or for relish or just about anything since this glassdesign, created in 1891, was made for extensive Victorian table use.
