Offered here for your consideration is bronze mounted Capodimonte porcelain casket or large box. It is in overall good used condition.The bronze mount has been reattached andregluedseveral times. There are areas where the hinge doesn\'t sit flat and the mount pulls away slightlyfrom the lid. The rear portionofthe mount (while stable) is not fully attached. The hinge is fully functional, open and closes well, but does need a hand to support its weight of the lid when openThe porcelain is in good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The sides are out of square in some places (most noticeable at the keyhole). There is slight glaze loss to some corners, rubbing to the gold throughout, some tracing of glue from the hingereglues, and other expected light wear and light surface scratches consistent with light use and age.There is an N under Crown stamped mark to underside.
