This beautiful pin brooch was made during the early Victorian Period. This Period is known for itsparticularstyle in jewelry and hand made craftsmanship that kick started the revolution of jewelry into what we know today.

The pin is made out of both 18k & 22k yellow gold and features 5.75 Cts of Almandine Garnets that are veryindicativeof the early Victorian late Georgian period!

Almandine Garnet\'s were extremely rare during the Victorian Period and only affordable by the richest of the rich. These particular gem stones were famous for their dark red and light purple colors that went extremely well with the style of the time.

The Garnets in this piece are beautifully cut into an oval cushion cut and features stunning facets that reflect light beautifully. They are expertly prong set inside of the yellow gold work and fit the style of this luxurious piece perfectly.

The gold work in this piece is entirely hand crafted and features a beautiful 18k yellow gold base that is decorated with a lovely border design. In the middle of the pin there are four stunning 22k yellow gold leaf designs that have been expertly planted into the piece and feature a stunning textured surface and ornate etchings!

The pin is finished off with a Victorian \"C\" clasp that does NOT include an enclosure mechanism. If you wish your local jeweler can probably add an enclosure mechanism to it. There is also a small bale attached to the pin that was designed to attach the pin to a pocket watch during the Victorian Period.

This is an extremely high quality pin of the early Victorian Period, you should not miss out on this rare opportunity! The pin is the type of pin you would find on a high ranking officer during a Victorian Cocktail event, very high class!
