Antique Ca Mau Cargo Blue and White Chinese Covered Porcelain Box Jar 1725 Antique Ca Mau Cargo Blue and White Chinese Covered Porcelain Box Jar 1725 Offered for sale is this well painted early 18th century covered seal paste box painted in underglaze blue in the Wild Cherry pattern. It comes from the Ca Mau Cargo of Chinese shipwreck porcelain. The Ca Mau Cargo comes from a Chinese Trading Junk that went down near the coast of what is today Ca Mau province, Vietnam, in about 1725, early in the reign of the Yongzheng Qing emperor.

The round box is 1 7/8 inches tall by 4 1/8 inches wide. The box weighs 8 oz (shipping weight 1 lbs).

Condition: overall in very good condition, no chips save for a couple of fleabites on the foot rim. Some surface wear as shown. No repairs.
