Antique Carl Tielsch German Hand Painted Porcelain 6\" Vase ca. 1900 (#25-2) Description
This estate piece is a uniquely shaped hand painted German porcelain vase by Carl Tielsch. Carl Tielsch founded the Altwasser factory in 1845. This graceful conical shaped rimless vase has what we believe to be cream colored iris flowers and stems on a brown to green gradient background. Very soft but appealing colors on a hard to find shape.This vase has one of the green eagle CT maker’s marks that dates to between 1900-1908. It also has a curved “Germany” mark stamped on the bottom along with hand written numbers “23395” over “21”. Impressed along the rim are what we believe to be a “Z” or a “7” and a “5”. Our research did not reveal what these letters and numbers may mean.Dimension/size – This petite vase stands a little over 6” tall and is about 3” in diameter at the base. The opening is about 2” in diameter. It weighs about 7.3 ounces.Condition – This fragile vase is in very good to excellent condition with not chips, cracks or repairs to report. Please see photos.

If we can\'t resolve the issue and agree the item will be returned, we will refund your purchase once the undamaged item is received back in the same condition and with the same or superior box and packing materials. About Us
The Amazing Grace on store was opened to assist us in selling the rather extensive estate of a friend\'s mother that we have \"inherited\". Sally collected a variety of things for many years and 95% of the over 1,200 treasures have been in storage for the last 20 years or more. From depression glass to Asian porcelain and carvings to Native American turquiose & silver jewelry, Sally was a very accomplished collector and even had numerous reference books that accompanied her collections.
