Northwood Glass Company was one of the premier names in early 20th century carnival glass with most of the company\'s production occurring before the death of founder Harry Northwood in 1919. Here is an example of one of Northwood\'s most popular patterns. The \"Good Luck\" bowl for sale is made of blue glass with purple and gold iridescence. This piece has fine stippling in the pattern making it even more desirable. The bowl measures 9 inches in diameter, has a ruffled rim, and the typical saw tooth edge found in the pattern. There is no damage from nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, etc. There are a few signs of light wear (not uncommon for the age of the piece) and there is a light shear mark in the center of the bowl. This bowl would make a nice addition to your carnival glass collection.
