Antique Carved Lapis Lazuli Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Dragon Ring c1920
This beautiful antique ring consists of a piece of very high grade, hand carved genuine China export Lapis lazuli stone mounted in an elaborate sterling silver hand wrought setting decorated with swirling arabesques and dragons on either side panel. The ring is designed in classic Art Nouveau patterns and themes. The stone is completely natural and undyed and shows its rich, deep blue color both on the front and on the back of the ring. The ring is an estate piece and guaranteed to be an antique. Most probably made in the US.
There are several minor imperfections throughout the setting due to the nature of it being handmade and also made to fit around the stone. All add to the beauty of this ring and none are defects. The stone is solid and has no cracks or chips. The setting has minor scuffs and tiny scratches commensurate with it\'s age; nothing serious and no problem. The ring can use a good cleaning to remove dust, and I\'ll let the winning buyer take care of this at your own jeweler.
