This hand-carved wooden wall angel came from Berkeley\'s John Henry Nash. The Nash house was built by architect Mark Daniels in 1930,and \"throughout the house, materials of the finest workmanship were used, many imported from Europe, and many purchased from William Randolph Hearst, one of Nash\'s patrons.\"There are no markings or signatures on the artwork and the artist is unknown. This is one of a pair, and measures approximately 18” wide x 26” tall x 2” deep, at highest points. The colors are vibrant and the overall condition is very good. There is a chip to the lower wing tip and a paint drip to the body. Needs cleaning. Photos are part of the description.
