This was my German Grandfather\'s. He was born around 1900 and married in the early 1920s if that gives you an idea of age. I don\'t know that much about it other than it is much more elegant in person than I can seem to get the photos to capture. The speckled white metal base is adorned with beautiful molded poinsettias who\'s green and red paint is vibrant and sharp considering the age. It was rewired years ago, because I\'m told the bulbs would not light if one was out, so they are now wired seperately. I have left the old paint worn bulbs in for the new owner to replace ( I can provide new bulbs if the winner would like , I just thought the look of the old bulbs was cool. One of them is out, but the socket is working as you can tell because I\'ve changed the position of the burnt out bulb in the photos to show all sockets are operating , as well as the additional plug area in the base. A vintage wire with a rocker switch is also a working modification from the original I\'m sure ) This solid old piece is big and heavy , so I am offering it here as a LOCAL PICK UP ONLY sale. I am located on the north shore of Long Island, NY , but I can arrange for delivery to the trip state area within a 150 mile radius for .50 a mile in time for Christmas if that helps. I do not wish to worry about securing and shipping this big heavy treasure at this time of year. Thank you for looking!
