Chartola Grand Autoharp Zither from The Chartola Co. (Jersey City, NJ)Possibly dated to 1914, this instrument has clearly seen better days.
The body shows cracks and warping, and the surface finish shows \"alligatoring\".
The decorative decals on the top surface are very faded.
There are a couple strings and tuning keys missing.Although this is probably no longer playable, it would make a nice vintage decoration up on a shelf in a restaurant, Great Room, etc.
This is being sold as a period piece decoration.Payment is due within 3 Days. Shipping is via the USPS
