Upfor your consideration is a vintage Chas Parker & Co (Meriden, CT) antique,adjustable height piano stool with glass and clawfoot legs … circa late 1800’s to early 1900\'s (Chippendale style). This “builtto last” stool is in very good to excellent condition and seems to have theoriginal patina. The stool has very few signs of its 100+/- years of age. The threadsin the iron mounting mechanism look very good and are not worn out and adjust upand down nicely. The legs and crossbars are strong and in excellent original condition with no cracks or repairs. One tip of one claw footis missing on the inside of the leg and that one glass ball appears not to beoriginal, however, these minor flawsare barely noticeable. Please review allmy pictures very carefully as they show the exact condition of the stool. The stoolmeasures about 19\" fully down, 24\" fully up to where thethreads come undone ... so about 22\" is of safe usable height. The seat is 141/2\" in diameter and dished in the middle for comfort. The approximate legspread is 14\" across the closest feet, 18\" across the farthest feet. Dueto its weight, this stool is listed for localpick-up only. This stool will make a fine gift or a great addition toanyone’s collection.
