Antique China Head Doll 22\" ~ Circa 1890s
A beautiful antique china shoulder head doll most likely originating from Germany circa the 1890s. She measures approximately 22\" tall and has black molded wavy hair in lowbrow style with center part, blue painted eyes with red accent lid lines, rosy cheeks, closed mouth, accented nostrils, and a nice clean cloth body with china lower limbs and black molded boots with painted accent buttons. Her shoulder plate is faintly marked with the number 6. She is dressed in a dark blue velvet dress with a maroon sash. The dress has been mended along one of the shoulder seams.
She is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and no tears or rips on her body. She only has a couple of small paint rubs on her hair. Please see pictures for details and please note that many of the pictures show glare on her hair that are not paint rubs. Stand not included.
