A Chinese carved wood table screen inlaid with a white jade belt plaque.

The woodwork was made in the late 19th or early 20th century to display

the pierced jade belt plaque, which probably dates from the late Ming Dynasty.

The jade is set in a rectangular carved wooden panel, which lifts out of a carved wood stand.

Approximate sizes are; Total height 174 mm, width 182 mm, depth 84 mm, weight 260 g

jade height 51 mm, jade width 95 mm.

There\'s a small piece of wood missing from the front of the stand at the bottom. (See last photos.)

The jade is in good condition.
