This is a VERY HEAVY Decorative Sword that includes the holding sheath. I am unsure of the exact country where this sword was made. There are intricate raised designs of dogs on the handle. I am unsure of the exact type of metal that this sword is made from. It has a brass or bronze look and feel to it. A magnet will not stick to it. This appears to be more of a ceremonial or decorative sword rather than a sword for combat. The blade is dull and appears to never have been sharpened. This sword by itself weighs 7.4 pounds and measures 30\" long by 5 and 1/4\" wide by 1 and 1/4\" thick. The sheath measures 39 and 1/4\" long by 5 and 7/8\" wide by 1 and 1/4\" deep. The sword has some wear present with no breaks, bends, or repairs present. This is a highly unusual sword of a heavy weight. It is a must have item for the serious collector.
