I have once again been retained to deaccession selected items from the collection of a large museum here in Central New York State, founded in 1863. We offer antiques and artifacts that have been deemed to have no relevance to Central New York, and which do not align with the museum\'s mission. Many of these items were donated over 100 years ago. As such, none of these have ever been offered for sale. You won\'t get any more \"fresh to market\". Note that all proceeds go to support the ongoing work of this wonderful institution. I will reveal the name of the museum to the sale winner if they are interested. I do not profess to be an expert on all of these items. In this sale we offer an antique Chinese opium pipe. The pipe measures 20 1/4\" long. It has a bamboo stem and a bronze or brass bowl. The mouthpiece is also very nice. The pipe was donated to the museum in 1954 and has sat in storage ever since. The pipe looks to be in very good condition. I know that you will be pleased.
