Up for sale is the Eppelsheimer # 8295 -- Crowing Rooster --Chocolate Mold. The dimensions of this mold are 5 1/4\" X 6 1/4\".
Provenance: This chocolate mold was used by a professional confectioner in Monroeville, PA (outside of Pittsburgh). The confectioner is now deceased. The confectionery was known as Danny\'s Candies formerly located at 3828 Wm. Penn Hwy., Monroeville, PA (I am told that a Sears appliance store now operates at that location). I purchased this mold from his son. The son told me that his father started out in business with a donut shop and then expanded to offer hard candies and chocolates.
The ornaments shown in the first photograph are not included.
