The skull does have some teeth missing..see photos. This incredible human skull was found stored in the attic of a home in Cincinnati , Ohio. The previous owner of the home was a physician in the Cincinnati, Ohio area several decades ago. The skull was found wrapped in a cotton cloth and stored in a trunk with some medical school books, etc. I believe the antique human skull was used in the late 1800\'s as a teaching aid at a medical school. This incredible skull has every bone and every landmark of the human skull identified with beautifully inscribed names..meticulously done... Every surface inside and out is inscribed with the bones and landmarks of the skull. Please see my photos of the exterior surfaces, the inside of the cranial cap, inside floor of the skull, inside of the eye sockets, underside of the jaw bones, etc...hundreds of named bones and landmarks... The lower jaw is attached to the skull with springs to allow the lower jaw to open and close. The cap of the skull is held in place with a tiny metal pin at the posterior edge of the skull, and there are two tiny metal latches on the sides to hold the skull cap in place. One of the latches is broken..see photos. This incredible skull measures 7 inches tall, and 7 inches long. Please see my series of photos prior to offerding.
