Being offered is an Antique Civil War Veterans Hat from the 21st Maine Regiment. The hat was made by M.C. Lilley & Co., Columbus, Ohio. The hat has a lot of wear but still is a great piece as not many cloth Civil War era items exist today at all. I am selling it at a low price because of condition and it is not identified. The person I bought it from said that a family member who wore it was a Civil War Veteran.
