This antique COAT RACK with 5 FOLDING HOOKS is designed to be mounted on the wall. From 1940\'s or earlier. Wood frame with grooved finish top and bottom, folding iron hooks with decorative design and metal brackets on each end for hanging on the wall. There is an additional hole in the bottom wooden rail for fastening to the wall. The beige paint is from the 1950\'s or earlier - there is a earlier creme color paint that shows in some places. The paint is worn as would be expected from decades of use, particularly on the top edges of the hooks. This coat rack has not been cleaned, keep the original patina or you could refinish.
