ONE (1) Old Copper / Tin Plated ? Pouring Vessel or Oil Lamp Filler. Not sure what this item used for is or exactly what it is made of. There is professional engraving on the bottom of this pourer which is difficult to read as some of the letters are badly worn. Clearly legible are the number851, USA. Difficult to read but nearly all the letters are legible under magnifying glass except for 3 of the middle letters ( FIE)SHEFFIELD PLATE. There is a manufacturers trade mark which is difficult to see in itsentiretybut looks like aCROWN. There was a lid and a hinge at one time but the lid has come off along the way and only a part of the hinge remains. There is a small hole in the vessel where the handle is affixed to the main body.
