ANTIQUEONE HALFGALLON SALT GLAZESTONEWARE CROCK

This is a onehalf gallon salt glazecirca1870-1900crock. It measures 9\" tall with a diameter of 5-1/4\" at the top. It features:

  • variable color salt glaze on the exterior
  • a 1/2\"tallextended rim
  • an Albany typeglazed interior
  • two decorative incised lines just below the top rim

The jug is in very good condition showing no cracks or chips.

Agood example of a utilitarian piece of late 19th century pottery!
