I am selling this veryold antique glass item that has its history in my family for over 50 years it camefrom England with my husband’s grandmother’s family.

Measures approx. 4 3/4\" tall, 6 1/2 \" base, and

3\" round at top. 19\" around

I do know this was NOT a US manufactured crackle glass item that was commonly made from the 30\'s to the late 60\'s or so. It\'s too crude and the glass is too thick to be a commercially made piece by the likes of Pilgrim or Rainbows, the most common manufactures of crackle glass during the afore mentioned period.

·The pontil ispretty crude also as is the shape of the applied handle and the unique pusheddown neck. Most commercial crackle glass was much thinner glass and moreartfully rendered shapes on the necks, lips and handles. So my guess is thatit\'s probably mid 18th to early 19th century English made in a small guild shopby an apprentice glass blower
