Dear friends, this amazing piece of antique glass (circa 1890 for the best of my knowledge) , I purchased many years ago, in France. Near 12 years ago, I paid very good price for it!It is part of the lamp, maybe kind of vase? - with very beautiful floral pattern, so usual for Daum glass, made that times.
I am not bad with photography, but it was really hard work for me, to accurately reproduce the colors : no experience with the glass. Two first pictures are most accurate (actually perfectly accurate) in terms of color. All other pictures little less, but at least i captured incredible work of artist, that looks me absolutely crazy to make. I had not enough funds to buy many pieces, so I picked up just most complicated I found that time.This is 8 inch high, 5 inch wide piece - it is pretty big for ancient Daum glass, on the base you may clearly see Lorraine Cross. I have seen similar items sold for 2-3k in Euro, but only expert may accurately apprise such unique work. Thankfully, I am rarely making mistakes with art - so I hope for some luck, and selling the piece in a free sale , from zero and . Hope free market will apprise it correctly.Art is an excellent investment. Also I not a dealer, and not making profit - but good items are outstanding investment.
