Antique Deco Ring Chinese Carved Red Jadeite Jade Solid 14k Gold-reclining Cat For Sale
Hello Everyone, Presented here is an exquisite Art Deco or Art Nouveau period 14k solid gold ring which I had set with an antique Chinese carved RED jadeite jade stone lovingly portraying a reclining cat or mythical Chinese feline animal. The ring setting is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The jade is a vibrant and natural untreated jade. It is not carnelian or agate, but tested jadeite jade.The 14k hallmark is quite clear. The jade, as you can see from the photos is carved on both sides, in the round, and it is perfect with no fractures, chips or cracks. The photographs were taken outdoors in natural daylight on a sunny day. No adjustment to the photographs. It is a size 8. The little cat is 10mm long and about 6 mm wide. It weighs 2.6 grams.
