This delightful antique Simon Halbig S H 1009 DEP Germanydoll is 25” tall. The doll has HIGHcolor with its original mohair wig. Thedoll has very thick multi-stroke eye brows, original big brown glass open andsleep eyes, finely painted upper and lower lashes, super chubby rosy cheeks, aperfect nose with painted nostrils, darling molded pierced ears, and a lovelysmile with full lips on an open mouth with teeth. The ears are free of any chips around herpierced ears. She has a wonderful pairof original blue glass ear rings. The head is mold marked S H 1009 DEP Germany. There are some white rub marks on the back ofthe head. The head has passed the blackand bright light tests and shows NO signs of damage or repairs. There are NO chips, cracks, or hairlines onthe bisque head. The S H 1009 heads werefound on Jumeau bodies and they were also sold to the French market.

The doll has its original ball jointed compositionbody. The body is NOT marked Jumeau itsure does look like one of their bodies.The body is in super shape with its original paint and finish. The dolls fingers are free of breaks and havetheir original paint. The toes are inwonderful shape. There is a crazing lineby her shoulder and some discoloration on the back of her shoulders. The neck socket and limb sockets are in greatshape. The doll is dressed in an antiquedress with under skirt, one piece slip, and pantaloons. The outfit could be original to the doll. The doll has an old pair of stockings. She has a fabulous pair of antique leathershoes. The leather is in wonderful shapewith two small metal flower embellishments at the ankle. The taffeta floral embellishments are worn onthe top front of the shoes. The bottomsof the leather soles are embossed with a C. M. in the middle of the sole andthere is a number 3 at the top of the sole.Both shoes are marked and they are a left and right foot.
