Antique Doll or Salesman Sample Dome Top Steamer Trunk.. measures 16\" x 11\" x 11\" high at tallest point. The interior is very clean.
The front and back of the trunk have been made from old wooden Tobacco boxes and have part of the label.
I believe this old trunk could be a child\'s doll trunk or maybe a salesman sample. It has its 2 handles and 4 wheels. It has old matching saw blade marks on bottom of tray and bottom of trunk.
The key fits but does not work the lock. It was the key that came with it at the farm sale. The very top tin is slightly dented but not torn or broken. It is a solid sturdy trunk to use and display.
This old beauty has had a face lift and some repairs done during its lifetime. This is how we found it, so we have no history on it.
