Antique Dollhouse MAN DOLL Bisque PorcelainCirca 1900 ParianThis beautiful man doll is in astonishingly pristine condition for his age. He has a painted face with fine features: heart-shaped lips! He wears a brown wool suit with glass bead buttons. He has small black boots and bisque hands. I am fairly sure his clothing is original, as the felt of his suit is old-looking. His shirt has an interesting texture and is stitched on in a way which looks like it was how he was manufactured. The amber-brown beads on his shirt look fine and clear, perhaps subtly different from the seed beads I see these days. His lips match those of my lady doll, which I believe to have been made by Hertwig or perhaps Bahr & Proschild. He measures 4 1/2\'\' tall. He has a tiny bit of fuzz near his eye in the photo but this came right off. Please see photos for condition. Listing is for the man doll and does not include other items. He will be packed well and sent First Class with insurance. I am also selling the little girl doll separately which you see in the last photo. I am selling other dollhouse miniatures and I do combine shipping! My house burned down in a California wildfire with no insurance. I lost a large inventory of clothing and antiques I had painstakingly repaired and modeled for my store, OutofthisWorldVintage.
