Presented is an exceptionalantique sterling silver miniature chair. The chair is a straight, panel- back armless chair with beautifully-turned spooling on the legs and side posts, a scroll and flourish accentedback-paneland a nice broad, beautifully decorated \"upholstered\" seat. The closer you look, the more there is to appreciate in all of the fine detail of this solid, well-crafted piece.

As you can see in the photos, there is a series of sterling hallmarksstamped into the silver. They are rough and shallow and difficult to identify, butwe expect they represent the Dutch silversmiths in Rotterdamfrom the mid 1700\'s through mid 1800\'s because of the style, quality and vintage of this piece.

The conditionof theminiature is excellent for its age.
