Offering my beautiful old and early GERMAN MINERVA metal head doll ....she\'s a lovely large size of 19\" tall and 7\" wide across her shoulders. This original beauty has a scuffed face and hair...as well as an age darkened cloth body. She has gorgeous blue glass eyes...no scratches to her eyes...they are fixed and not made to open or close. She has a bit of her seed cotton stuffing showing through one arm...and some loose stitches at her shoulders....quite typical for an early cloth doll. She\'s sooooo prim perfect in my book!! LOVE HER xo Ohhh, that sweet worn face is perfect!!! I\'d searched for several years to find a Minerva this large with a perfectly prim worn face like she has....and she wears THE BEST robin\'s egg blue and cream homespun dress...mostly treadle sewn with hand stitched button holes & tiny early MOP buttons down the back. She\'s sweet and odor free. Non smoking home.
Liquidating my primitive collection....as I used to decorate prim years ago and had this doll displayed in the guest bedroom....I don\'t decorate prim anymore and thought ...why leave her packed in a box ....someone else should enjoy her ~~~ I can\'t remember whose prim website I purchased her from....many years ago...I used to shop Early Country Antiques, Shop to love it, Mickey Bakeman, Mycronynme etc.....to mention a few.....this doll is Primwonderful ...and authentic!
