Here we have an Antique, Early 1800\'s, Brass Tipped Wedge Arm Plow Plane w/ 2 Cutting Irons. I could not tell if any of the names on the toe were from the maker, so I\'m going to say the maker is unknown.Thisplow plane is definitely an early model due to the presence of large rivets for attaching the steel skate to the body. The body, fence and arms are Beech and have seen lots of wear over the last approx. 150 yrs !! ( please review pics !) Some time in its history the two arm wedges and the cutting iron wedge went missing and a previous owner made a nice new set. The arms have nice Brass tips on the 4 ends and the arms are attached to the fence with large iron rivets and great looking diamond shaped escutcheon plates. The body has a working Brass depth stop. The plane comes equipped with two cutting irons: 1/4\" (WATTS & CO.), and a 1/2\" (WARD).
