Size and Measurements:The necklace has a graduated size and measures 19 inches in length. The necklace should rest around you breast bone as was the style during the Georgian period. The necklace is missing most of the seed pearls from the Fleur De Lis. These can easily be replaced by any jeweler, however look fine without. The center seed pearl as a slight hole on the side. The clasp has also been replaced at one point with a non gold push clasp.

This necklace is just simply gorgeous! This is by far the most rare and truly remarkable necklace that i have ever sold to date! This necklace features one of the most stunning hand made designs i have ever seen in jewelry. This beautifucl necklace was made with the Late Georgian period and Early Victorian period festoon style. The necklaces dangles down and features side strands that dangle to the side as well, thus the name of festoon. The necklace is made out of completely pure 24k Gold. It is very rare to find pure gold jewelry from this period, Georgian jewelers liked to use 18-20- & 22k gold for their jewelry as that was the style. The necklace also features a 24k Gold Fleur De Lis at the topside of the dangle portion, this and the purity leads me to believe this is of French origin. This pendant is 24k gold plated with silver, this was a very common process during this period to simulate what we now know today as White Gold. White Gold hadn\'t been invented yet so this was the easiest method to complete for contrast. Stunning condition for being well over 200 years old guys! I promise you will never see another necklace quite like this again, completely hand fabricated! This truly is a necklace that you would most likely see walking through a museum, it is in perfect and impeccable condition. his beautiful necklace was surely custom made for a very rich and wealthy lady during the Georgian Era! She would of had this necklace custom made to her specifications and the style of the period. Truly a one of a kind spectacular heirloom quality piece!
