For your consideration is this fabulous matte green handmade art pottery frog fountain from the turn of the century. The frog measures 12\" long by 8 1/2\" wide by 8 1/8\" tall including it\'s base. I have done research and have not been able to find this frog, closest I can find is a frog fountain by Gladding McBean. It is not signed, but it was hand pressed into a mold as shown, and made of the same white clay that all great old American Art Pottery is made. The frog does have damage as shown, I have tried to include photos from every angle, so pay close attention, he would be reapairable. Photo # 6 shows stress crack in chip, but it does not go through to bottom. This magnificent frog has great detail and is a wonderful example of early antique art pottery.PLEASE NOTE: Everything we sell is vintage and may have flaws.
