Early Mexican Sombrero
Offered is this wonderful old Mexican sombrero, constructed with quality, and constructed of finely woven straw that appears to have a painted finish. It is highly embroidered with twisted yarn and decorated with colored sequins, twine, leather and knotted thin rope accents. The interior and head band is combined with a taffeta/silky fabric that sports the Mexican Flag with an eagle (?) perched on it with 5 red X\'s beneath it. This antique sombrero is quite heavy, measures 18\" in diameter and is in good condition--especially for its age--but does have some loose threads and some worn and broken threads. Nice collectible sombrero from a local estate sale. This item ships free to your USA address.
